Job Description
The Research Assistant supports the development and research use of RapidBrachyMCTPS, a brachytherapy treatment planning system. Responsibilities include Python-based graphical user interface development, software testing and documentation, user support for installation and operation, integration of AI-based automation models, support for transferability of the system across treatment sites, and participation in retrospective dosimetry studies. Additional duties include workflow validation, data analysis, and contributions to research reports and manuscripts.
Tasks
-Develop and improve the Python graphical user interface.
-Implement, test, debug, and document software features.
-Support users with installation, troubleshooting, and software operation.
-Prepare user guides and technical documentation.
-Incorporate AI-based automation models into the software.
-Support the adaptation of the platform across treatment sites.
-Conduct retrospective dosimetry studies and data analysis.
-Validate workflows and research outputs.
-Contribute to reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
