Current Projects
Development of a Quality Assurance Dectector System for DaRT
Recently, a novel brachytherapy treatment option is being offered for solid tumours through alpha-emitters released from Radium-224 loaded brachytherapy seeds, called diffusing alpha-emitters radiotherapy (DaRT). Zachary is developing a device that is able to perform quality assurance of individual DaRT seeds prior to administration of the seeds into the patient.
