Bio

Ali completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University. Afterwards, he joined the Enger Lab to complete a M.Eng. degree in Biological and Biomedical Engineering.

Current Projects

Ali has worked on development of fast electronics for a non-invasive detector that will enable dynamic Positron Emission Tomography. A peak sensing circuit was developed to determine the energy of the particles detected. Furthermore, a leading edge discriminator was developed to obtain the travel time of the particles for the time-of-flight method.
