Bio
Shreesh was born in India and completed his A-levels in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Currently Shreesh is in his final year of his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University in Montréal. Shreesh joined the Enger Lab in Summer of 2021 and has been working on developing an Intensity Modulated Brachytherapy Delivery System for Rectal Cancer.
Current Projects
Development an Intensity Modulated Brachytherapy (IMBT) Delivery System for Rectal Cancer
Shreesh is currently working on engineering an IMBT delivery system. The primary focus of this project is to design and build a radiation shield capable of dynamically directing radiation towards tumors in endorectal cancer patients. Technology associated with the placement and movement of the radiation shield is also currently being designed and prototyped. Combining the research from the Enger Lab, this technology will enable the strategic delivery of dose to endorectal patients for better treatment and care.
