Bio
Fabian is from Uppsala, Sweden and got his Master’s degree in molecular biotechnology engineering at Uppsala University. He joined Enger lab as a PhD student in 2022 to develop intensity-modulated brachytherapy for gynecological cancers.
Current Projects
Development of intensit-modulated brachytherapy
Fabian is developing novel rotating shields for intensity-modulated gynecological brachytherapy, currently designing and simulating the performance of shielded applicators to alleviate the need for interstitial needle placements and to increase the sparing of organs-at-risk during treatment.
