José is an Italian-Brazilian physicist currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Physics in the Department of Physics at McGill University. He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Alberta, where his research focused on magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Diploma in Engineering Physics (Mechatronics) from the University of the Fraser Valley. As a member of the Enger Lab, his current research focuses on advancing artificial intelligence-assisted treatment planning systems for brachytherapy.
