Congratulations to Francisco for his paper “Fast DM,M calculation in LDR brachytherapy using deep learning methods” being published in the Physics in Medicine and Biology journal!
This work describes a method developed by Francisco which applies a deep learning trained with Monte-Carlo simulations to predict dose to medium for LDR prostate brachytherapy, considering the anisotropy of a brachytherapy source and patient tissue composition.
