Mélodie Cyr Honored as Outstanding Author for Colorectal Cancer Model Study

We are thrilled to celebrate Mélodie Cyr whose paper titled “Establishing a standardized murine orthotopic intra‑rectal model for the study of colorectal adenocarcinoma” was recognized as an Outstanding Contribution in the Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology. Among a field of more senior researchers, Mélodie stood out as an Outstanding Author, underscoring the significance and quality of her work.
Her study presents a highly reproducible and effective orthotopic mouse model for colorectal adenocarcinoma, achieving tumor growth success rates of over 90% in both male and female mice, and offering a valuable platform for future cancer research and therapeutic testing.
