EngerLab Welcomes Three new Ph.D. Students Azin Esmaelbeigi, Sébastien Quetin and Mélodie Cyr!

Azin Sebastien Melodie

Azin has a M.Sc. in Medical Biophysics from University of Toronto where she investigated physiological aspects of functional MRI. During her Ph.D. studies she will work on the dosimetry of Xoft Axxent electronic brachytherapy system and its application for treatment of rectal cancer.

Sébastien is joining us from National Institute of Applied Sciences of Toulouse where he specialized in Mathematics and Data Science. During his Ph.D. studies he will be automating brachytherapy dosimetry and treatment planning workflow by using Artificial Intelligence.

Mélodie obtained her M.Sc. degree in Medical Physics from McMaster University. During her Ph.D. studies she will investigate diffusion of the alpha particle emitting daughters of the AlphaTau DaRT Seed through animal models.
